This annual event began in 1976 as a way for area artists and crafts people to showcase their talents and has been a Bloomington tradition ever since! The Fourth Street Festival of the Arts has grown over the years into one of the premier festivals in the region and now includes artists from across the country.  The festival takes place between Fourth Street and Grant Street in downtown Bloomington and features a wide variety of fine arts and crafts, performance art, live musical entertainment and loads of booths to browse through. Voted 8th Best Art Festival in the country in 2004!  Admission is free.
